MISSION
Based on the vision of the Development Economics Study Program and considering the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges that exist at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta, the Development Economics Study Program has the following missions:
Organizing education in the field of economics in terms of intellectual, moral, IT-based, and entrepreneurial mentality based on Islamic values so as to form graduates who are independent, responsible and able to adapt their skills as needed.
Carrying out research and community service in the field of professional economics in a sustainable manner.
OBJECTIVES
Produce graduates of the Development Economics study program who are professional and able to develop an entrepreneurial mentality, both for business and non-business.
Able to develop knowledge in the field of economics through research and community service, with the characteristic of strengthening quantitative methodologies, Economic Theory and Banking Economics and Islamic Finance.
